This luxurious 2-seat walk-in bathtub was the first ever bathtub designed for two bathers! Measuring 32” wide and 60” long, the Companion is designed to fit in a standard 60” alcove opening.
This model offers one 23″ and one 24 1/2″ wide seat and is recommended for petite to average size bathers. Please consider all bather measurements and look over model specifications to make sure this will be a good fit for you and your partner.

The companion comes standard with a powerful independent foot massage and other great features. No need to fill the entire tub, the footwell fills in just a couple of minutes! The Companion features a beautifully designed brushed stainless steel and frosted tempered glass inward swing door and a white glossy acrylic shell which makes this walk-in tub look modern and sleek. This unique design is especially helpful in assisted bathing or used to create an unforgettable and relaxing experience for you and your loved one.
The walk-in tub shell of the Companion is constructed with premium acrylic in a white glossy finish, supported by a stainless-steel frame with adjustable leveling legs, and reinforced with fiberglass gel coat layers. The nonporous acrylic surface is easy to clean and impermeable to mold and mildew. A textured floor, low step-in threshold, one deck and one wall mounted U-shape stainless steel grabs in a chrome finish, enhance your safety and allow quick and safe entry and exit in and out of the tub.
This 2 seat walk-in tub measures at 32”W x 60”L and offers one 23″ and one 24 1/2″ wide seats. The Companions main feature is the door which is made from beautiful, custom brushed stainless steel with a frosted tempered glass window to give it a sleek, contemporary look. The door is 16 ½” wide, and swings into the tub to allow the bathers to easily enter and exit the tub without being in the way of other bathroom fixtures such as a toilet or vanity. These inward swing doors are also easier to close once inside the walk-in tub. The extended stainless steel door lever was uniquely designed to bypass the bathers’ leg when locking and unlocking the door in a seated position. The lever lock, along with the door gasket, creates a secure and watertight door seal, providing you with a safe, leak-free bathing experience. Another key feature available on all Ella inward-swing door models, is our patented detachable 360° swivel tray.
Product Features
Dual Drain Technology, consisting of two independent 2” gravity driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 drain openers, allowing for a fast and reliable drainage.
2 caps are also included to cover up to 2 of 4 ports if needed.
The 2” drain outlets can be connected to the standard 1 ½” house drain with a T or Y fitting and piping provided by a professional plumber.
It is suggested to connect all 4 outlets to the house drain for the fastest drainage possible.
Typical drainage time is approximately +/- 80 seconds for this standard size tub within ideal in-home plumbing conditions.
Ella gravity driven dual drains are fast and reliable because they do not require an electric pump, whereas electrical driven drains may fail due to electrical shorts or power outages.
This model also includes one reversible end panel for left or right corner installation options.
The reversible end panel is used to cover the end of the tub that is exposing the walk-in tub shell.
An additional end panel can be ordered if your tub will be installed against the wall with both ends exposed.
Therapy & Jetting
Air Jet Massage System
The Companion walk-in tub has fourteen (14) strategically placed air jets in order to deliver rejuvenating therapeutic relief. Five (5) upper, fixed flat jets per seat work to provide relief to your back, hips and thighs, while an additional six (6) jets located in the lower foot area deliver a gentle massage to your feet and calves. Additionally, one (1) of the five (5) upper jets are bidet jets.
The air massage system includes an air pump with a 3-speed variable push control, strategically positioned air jets for optimal therapeutic relief, and auto-purge to maintain an air system free of any build ups.
Ella’s Air Jet System includes an Auto Purge System. It automatically activates 20 minutes after completing your bath in order to blow out any excess water and bacteria from the air jet lines. Auto-purge will run for 120 seconds to ensure your system is clear and free of moisture and excess water helping to prevent mildew build up.
Hydro Massage System
The Companion walk-in tub has twenty (20) strategically placed hydro jets in order to deliver optimal therapeutic relief. Seven (7) upper fixed jets per seat work to provide relief for your back, hips and thighs, while six (6) lower adjustable jets massage your feet and calves.
The Hydro Massage System includes: a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, an eco-friendly ozone sterilization system, a hydro massage intensity control dial, and a strategically positioned hydro jet system for targeted and effective massaging.
The in-line water heater is designed to maintain the water temperature at a constant level while bathing for maximum comfort. The ozone sterilization system is the most eco-friendly, chemical free disinfectant that can eliminate a wide variety of inorganic, organic, and microbiological bacteria. This sterilization system is especially helpful in eliminating odors and hygienic maintenance.
Lastly, the hydro massage intensity control dial allows you to adjust the strength of the water stream by adding more or less air into the hydro system.
Independent Hydro Foot Massage System
The Hydro + Independent Foot and Calf Massage package uses two independently run pumps to give bathers a simultaneous full body massage and a powerful foot and calf massage. The strategically positioned upper and lower hydro jets powered by two hydro pumps include an intensity control dial to adjust the strength of the water pressure to your liking from a gentle pressure to a more rigorous Bathers can enjoy an independent foot and calf massage within minutes by simply filling the foot well up the seat level.
Please note: if you choose this jetting package, your walk-in bathtub will come with one (1) in-line water heater that will be connected to the lower jets and used with the independent foot massage feature, and an ozone sterilization system connected to the upper jets.

1. Controller Options
We offer two control options: Push Control or Digital Control. Our Push Controls are easy-to-use push down buttons that will operate your chosen jetting and any additional features.
The digital control is our more modern option, giving you a digital keypad from which to control your jets and additional features such as Chromatherapy LEDs and heated seat & backrest. Since the Digital Control is smaller, it may be more difficult for elderly to see and operate.
2. Ella 4-Fold Glass Shower Screen in Chrome Finish for Walk-In Tubs
The Ella brand 4-fold shower screen is the best option in the industry for walk-in tubs because of the foldable feature that’s not offered with a standard shower glass or curtains. This gives bathers an airy, open feeling with the option to easily push the screen aside. The lightweight glass, secured in an aluminum frame with quality gear hinges, is sturdy enough to endure rigorous daily use. Additionally, one of the 4-fold sections can be removed to create a 3-fold shower screen.
3. Standard Seat Pillow Riser
The Standard Seat Pillow Riser is designed to cover the bidet jets found in your Ella walk-in bathtub. This luxuriously thick pillow is incredibly comfortable and can be used as a riser or additional seat support in all walk in bathtubs. The interior material is washable and can be removed.
4. U-Shape Seat Pillow Riser
Our dual massage walk-in tubs have two air jets in the center of the seat. The U shape pillow is designed to accommodate these two bidet jets. If you want to cover bidet jets, you can utilize the regular seat pillow. This luxuriously thick pillow is incredibly comfortable and can be used as riser or additional seat support in all walk in bathtubs. The interior material is washable and can be removed.
5. Headrest & Neck Support
Increase your comfort with the Ella Walk-In Bathtub Headrest. The headrest can be mounted on the wall or on the deck using attached suction cups.
